Rev Ian writes ….
Right now the world seems gripped with fear. We thought we had everything under control, now we realise how vulnerable we really are. Believers need to trust in the Lord as never before, and witness to their faith and hope in words and deeds of love.

Listen to “Cornerstone”

This song ‘Cornerstone’ is one which we enjoy at 11.30am. Its the re-working of an older hymn, and is based on 1 Peter 2:6 “I am laying in Zion (God’s people) a stone, a CORNERSTONE chosen and precious; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

These words are appropriate for the times we are living in:

When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong in the Saviour’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong in the Saviour’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
