Anne was born in Guildford, baptised in St Peter’s Oxshott, but her childhood was spent travelling, as father in the army, so was confirmed by the Bishop of Singapore in Malaya.
Prior to ordination she worked for Medical research council on mental health project, then for the University on a Drug safety research project and finally a pharmaceutical company.
She was Ordained in Portsmouth cathedral in 1990 and stayed very locally for parish ministry in Warsash and Locks Heath. This was followed by 16 years as part of the chaplaincy team at Southampton General hospital and Countess Mountbatten House, the hospice in West End before retiring in 2017.
